That’s the rules they put in place, but I’m completely committed to playing cricket for England,” he stated, affirming his priority lies with his national team.

At 26, Brook succeeds Jos Buttler as the captain tasked with rejuvenating England’s performance in one-day international and Twenty20 formats. England’s cricket calendar is packed, with 11 Tests scheduled before the end of the Ashes in early January.
