No Tests in CSA’s home schedule for 2025-26; SA women host Ireland, Pakistan

South Africa will not be hosting a men’s Test next summer as CSA announced the home schedule for the 2025-26 international season.

South Africa women will be hosting Ireland and Pakistan for white-ball tours. Both home assignments consist of three T20Is and three ODIs each. The series against Ireland will be played between December 5 and 19 while South Africa will host Pakistan from February 10 to March 1, 2026. The Pakistan series also marks the first round of the new Women’s Championship cycle, leading up to the 2029 ODI World Cup. Cape Town, Gqeberha, Johannesburg, Centurion along with Durban are among the host venues. The Kingsmead Stadium in Durban will once again stage the Black Day ODI to raise awareness about gender-based violence on March 1, 2026.

South Africa men will play a five-match T20I series against West Indies at home between January 27 and February 6, before they head to the subcontinent for the men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka.

“We are looking forward to seeing our women take on Ireland and Pakistan,” CSA CEO Pholetsi Moseki said in a release. “These tours not only provide our team with strong competition but also give our fans an opportunity to watch the Proteas Women compete at their favourite venues across the country.

“Our international window for men’s cricket is unusually shorter next season due to outbound bilateral tours to Australia, England, Pakistan, and India between August and December.

“The Betway SA20 will also take place before the T20 International series against West Indies, with both providing valuable game time ahead of next year’s T20 World Cup.”
